tiwselect feature?

My users that are using the keyboard for navigation would like to enter an iwselect and then be able to search without having to click on the dropdown with the mouse.

The only way this behavior works is for MultiSelect := true.   

Am I missing another way to turn this on without having MutliSelect available?
