Intraweb Documentation
#1
Hello, I want to ask this Intraweb if I see that there has been no tutorial or some kind of complete documentation so far?

IntraWeb documentation is scaterred in multiple places. Some part of it reflects the current state some don't.

You can start here: https://downloads.atozed.com/intraweb/In...Manual.pdf

This is an old IntraWeb manual. Somethings are outdated and don't apply anymore. But it is still good to understand the structure of an IW application.

You can also check this docs online here:

https://docs.atozed.com/Docs.dll/index.html

There are several blog posts covering most recent IntraWeb features here:

https://www.atozed.com/category/intraweb/iw-general/

There are dozens of demos here:

https://github.com/Atozed/IntraWeb

Download the whole repo to your local disk and run them. You will see many features in action. Each demo tries to just demonstrate one specific feature alone, no bells and whistles, just the core concept.

You can also find lots of content on Youtube from different authors.

This forum also contains lots of information on various topics. In doubt, just ask and we will try to help you the best we can.

Cheers,

The pdf manual download for IW7 was created with a tool called Help&Manual which I'm familiar with.  Help&Manual will allow you to create projects programmatically via xml so I wondered if it was possible to scrape the online IW help, wrap some xml around it, then create a normal help file.

Turns out it's pretty straight forward (I only filled in the release history as proof of concept):

One thing that's nice is the built in search functionality with highlighting:

I imagine the demos and maybe even this forum could be archived in the help file.  Something to think about.

@MSJ yes, I'm also familiar with Help&Manual. I used it in the past in different projects, to generate both static help files and also HTML content used in an online help system.

It's a great tool, also built with Delphi. What I can tell you at the moment is that I'll pass your message along. Personally I'm all for using a tool like H&M

Spent a little more time on it and had some success, I would say it's reasonably (not perfect of course) done.   I'll send a private email to see if there's a step forward for distribution.  in my opinion IntraWeb looks spectacular in CHM format.
