TIWVideo slow to load - davidbaxter - 03-06-2023
TIWVideo is a great component, but it seems to take a very long time to load before playing. In this case 'long time' is 20-30 seconds. Sometimes the circular hourglass will show for that time, sometimes it comes up and goes away after 2 seconds, which leaves the user not knowing what is happening, or if.
I know files must be in .mp4 format, but there are a lot of options within that format. What are the recommended settings for, say, converting a .m2ts such that it would load quickly? Or, in general, what are the 'best practices' for using TIWVideo?

Well, since nobody else wants to comment - here's what I found so far. I'm getting the best results using HandBrake, setting the output to "Fast 1080p30" and clicking the "Web Optimized" box. The optimized box seems to be the key selection.
